Sports Unlimited

Since spring 2018, swiss alpine destination Davos Klosters has a new slogan: Sports Unlimited. We used VR, AR and 3D sensors to bring this promise to life – and to get Switzerland moving.

At the start of the ski season, we launched the Facebook AR game «Face Slalom», where you control a skier by moving your head to the left and right. Right before the FIS cross-country world cup race Davos Nordic, olympic champion Dario Cologna did a warm-up with passersby in Zurich while a 3D sensor tracked their movements. Leading up to the famous Spengler Cup hockey tournament in Davos, we launched a VR hockey game where you have to catch pucks as a goalie.

The games were all programmed to get people moving in the same rhythm. We combined the game movements into a dance and created a matching song. Because in Davos Klosters you can’t only move on snow and ice, but also on the dancefloor.
