Safety Belt in Tractors

Only a fraction of Swiss farmers use a safety belt in their tractors – which repeatedly leads to serious accidents. The Advisory Centre for Accident Prevention in Agriculture (BUL) has therefore commissioned us to develop a VR experience in which farmers can experience such an accident firsthand. First without a seat belt and with fatal consequences. In contrast to real life, in virtual reality the farmers get a second chance: they can jump back to the beginning, put on a seat belt – and experience how the accident turns out so much less serious.

We developed the application in three languages and for four different VR systems (Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Samsung Odyssey).
