AR Egg Hunt
This year, an innovative Easter promotion awaited customers in SPAR stores throughout Switzerland: Using their smartphone, they could go in search of virtual Easter eggs.
In order to make this happen, Bandara developed a web-based augmented reality experience: via a QR code at the entrance to the store, customers were taken to a landing page where, after a brief instruction, they started the AR mode and went in search of virtual eggs in the store. Those who found three of a total of five hidden eggs could take part in the raffle. Prizes included SPAR shopping vouchers and tickets to Europapark.
