AR Sneaker Hunt

At «Sneakerness», Europe’s biggest sneaker fair, Zalando came presented a sneaker hunt in augmented reality. To make it as easy as possible for visitors to get started, we used WebAR (augmented reality without app download).

 

The hunt started at the Zalando booth: Through a QR code, visitors were taken to a landing page where they could start the AR mode. The task now was to find and scan four stickers with the hottest kicks of the season («Hot Drops»). Behind each sticker, there was an AR animation that revolved around the history of the respective sneaker. Those who found all the Hot Drops could leave their contact details and thus take part in a raffle.
